A trip to Spain would not be the same without dipping your toes in the Mediterranean. The nearest beach is Aguilas. This is about an hour and a half away. San Juan de los Terreros has a smaller, quiet beach. It has nice restaurants and bars as well.

Emergencies:

We hope nothing unpleasant happens during your stay, but if something should happen…

There is a first aid kit and fire extinguisher in our cave house.

If you need immediate assistance, here are the emergency telephone numbers:

Local Government/Police/Ambulance: dial 112

Ambulance: 061

Other basics:

Our cave house features all the comforts of home: a stove, refrigerator, television, silverware, cutlery, plates, glasses, pots and pans, towels, sheets, blankets, a fireplace, firewood, etc.

Cave house are “alive.” They respond to air circulation and temperature changes. If it smells a bit like mushrooms, you should open the windows and turn on the fan to improve the cave’s breathing. In winter, lighting a fire will help warm and dry out the cave as well. In no time, the smell will disappear.

If you find it too warm, close the windows and blinds and turn on the fan in the back bedroom to circulate the cooler air from the the back of the cave to the front.

If you find it too cold, again close the windows and blinds, and put more wood on the fire, or do some cooking to warm up.

The television manual and remote are next to the television. We hope everything else is reasonably self-explanatory.

If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us by Whatsapp, email, or telephone.

We liked it so much that we bought the dream. We hope you feel the same.

Please let us know if there is something we can do to make your stay better…
